Dear experts and authors: National Science Library，Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Medical Information of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Taylor & Francis Publishing Group will jointly hold the "Oncology Paper Open Peer Review and Efficient Publication Project Author Recruitment" in the form of an online conference on the afternoon of January 22, 2024. Webinar and Promotion Meeting for Cooperation and Co-construction of Preprint Exchange System in the Field of Oncology." This conference aims to "promote the efficient exchange and publication of scientific research papers in the field of oncology on preprint platforms and international journals, and build a preprint exchange system in the field of oncology led by my country's academic community". It invites authors from the field of oncology, as well as scientific research institutions Representatives from , information service agencies, societies, associations, journals and other relevant units attended the meeting. National Science Library，Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Medical Informatics, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Taylor & Francis Publishing Group 20/1/ 2024 Attachment: Introduction to the “Open Peer Review and Efficient Publication Project of Oncology Papers” "The Open Peer Review and Efficient Publishing of Oncology Papers Project" was launched in 2023 by the F1000 open research publishing brand under Taylor & Francis Publishing Group and the Chinese Academy of Sciences scientific paper preprint platform ChinaXiv (construction and operation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Documentation and Information Center). In the same year, biomedRxiv, a biomedical science and technology paper preprint platform (Institute of Medical Informatics, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences), joined the project cooperation. This project supports authors to quickly publish scientific research papers on oncology on the above-mentioned preprint platform. The preprint papers will undergo open peer review with the support of Taylor & Francis's F1000 open research publishing brand. The peer review results, including the names of review experts, will be displayed on the preprint platform. The peer-reviewed preprint paper will be published in the oncology section of the project's partner journal, Annals of Medicine. This journal is an international OA journal of general medicine (2022 impact factor is 4.4).
